It seems that Facebook is the really king of "buzz". (I know, I'm so witty..lol :P )

With Google + opening up to the general public (you don't need an invite to join now), it seems Facebook strategically stole Google's thunder by releasing these changes at the same time as Google's announcement, creating quite a frenzy and almost pushing Google's announcement to the wayside.
