Background

Sari LaBelle is passionate about building empowering and inspiring places to work and live. A certified professional and personal coach and organizational development consultant, she brings to her clients more than fourteen years of experience in workshop facilitation, organizational learning and change, and executive and life coaching in the not-for-profit and private sectors. She has consulted across Canada from Alberta to the Atlantic provinces as well as internationally.

She has also garnered more than 15 years of experience in fundraising and managing non-profit programs ranging between $10,000 and $50 million. Her prestigious client list includes McGill University, the CHU Dumont Foundation and the Canadian Red Cross among others.

Sari has a Master of Arts in Applied Human Sciences – Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University in Montreal (2003) and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Alberta, Edmonton (1998). She also spent a year at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea as a student academic exchange student.

A professional who offers a fresh and creative approach to her work, Sari is a life-long learner who loves bringing new ideas and programs into fruition for her clients. Her unique perspective is honed from her innate ability to engage in her own life whole-heartedly and globally.

Sari has a rich and diverse background of experience and knowledge to offer her clients.
Prior to joining NuFocus Strategic Group, Sari was a senior consultant with RBR Development Associates Ltd. and director of its School of Advanced Fund Development (SAFD).

During that time she provided fundraising and organizational development counsel to non-profit organizations across Eastern Canada. She also co-developed and delivered the School’s curriculum for non-profit executives and managers.

Dedicating much of her career to building sustainability and growth in the not-for-profit sector, Sari has worked with more than 100 non-profit organizations. These ranged from small grass roots organizations to large international institutions.

Working and consulting with a number of private and public-sector organizations and corporation across Canada has given her a breadth of experience in corporate training and workshop facilitation. She has experience facilitating large (100+) and small (15-30) groups in a multitude of work, educational and community settings.

Sari is also a certified yoga teacher & therapist, meditation instructor and life coach with a specific interest in helping organizations develop workplace well-being strategies that improve employee engagement and productivity, reduce stress and encourage healthy, whole-hearted living.

She is a registered member of the International Coaching Federation (I.C.F.), the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP), the Canadian Yoga Alliance (C.Y.A.) and the Alliance Professionnelle des Naturopathes et Naturothérapeutes (A.P.N.N.).
